I paint myself in the ocean of your eyes,
Your iris my canvas, my oars the brush,
Your tears shall be the pigment until it dries,
Your every sorrow, I shall crush.
For I am an artist, and you are my muse,
And you are the one whose immersion I desire,
Oh ink of blood from my veins does ooze,
To touch your heart I draw with fire.
The candles burn brightly through the night,
You are my shining flame in the dark,
With you I can see the light,
And within me you ignite a spark.
Oh now I see myself in your glistening eyes,
I shall not paddle to the shore,
For to know you my every fiber cries,
I have an insatiable hunger to reach your core.
