Take a look at your shadows, my dear,
And release your deepest fear,
For they only exist when there is light,
They are obscured in the dark night,

Reminding you of the luminescence ahead,
Though they hunt you like aphotic thoughts in your head,
Recall upon how they are always behind you,
And what has past shall no longer harm you.

Oh, upon your shadows, I paint stars,
To emphasize that even in your wars,
There prevails a luster unrelenting,
That permeates through you, unsuspecting,

Illuminating your unexpurgated vicinity,
Vanquishing it’s each and every absurdity,
They shine throughout your darkest moments,
Like hope blossoms in brooding poets.
